Day 1: Ulaanbaatar Arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. Half or full day City-tour according to wish. In the evening watching a traditional music concert. Day 2: Ulaanbaatar Visit in the Winter Palace of the 8th Bogd Khaan and in the Choijid Dagina Buddhist Monastery Museum. Day 3: Terelj After breakfast, drive to Terelj National Park, which is 80km northeast of the city. Spend the day touring the area and enjoying the unique scenery. Day 5: Elsiin Tasarkhai and Karakorum After breakfast, drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, which is a unique geomorphologic desert formation crossing the Khangai plateau. Overnight at Karakorum. Day 6: Erdene-Zuu Visit in Erdene-Zuu Buddhist Monastery complex, one of the oldest monasteries in Mongolia housing unique examples of Buddhist iconography dating from the 16th century. Visit the symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. Drive to Tsetserleg. Day 7: Tsetserleg Visit the extinct volcano, Khorgiin Togoo and Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur that is a beautiful body of water surrounded by extinct volcanoes. On the way there are caves worth exploring. Day 10: Yol Valley Full day excursion to the Yol Valley that is an extraordinary geographical scene: a deep rocky valley with steep slopes and a permanently frozen river in its bottom under the flaming sun of the Gobi desert! TOUR DATE: Based on the weather conditions, the best time for traveling in Mongolia is between Jun 10 and Aug 25. The time and length of the tours as well as the style of the trips can be modified according to the wish and agreement of the group members after having contacted and informing us in advance. Please note the following:

Hotels in Ulaanbaatar city reserved for double occupancy on more than 2 persons, and in countryside all Ger styled tourist camps are based on 3 or 4 person occupancy. Check-in at hotels is at 12:00pm/Check-out at hotels is at 12:00pm. Traveling over long distances is done in Delica, 4WD Russian Jeep or Van and often over rough terrain for approximately 49hours depending upon road and weather conditions. Daily driving distance is 150-350km. Your holiday includes transfers, accommodation and excursions as specified in your itinerary.

It is the responsibility of the client to be fully covered with travel and medical insurance while traveling in Mongolia.
