EFQM Definition
The EFQM Excellence Model is a practical

tool designed to help organizations drive towards being more competitive by measuring where they are on the path to excellence; helping them understand the Given the then stimulating solutions gaps; and complexities of todays
interconnected world, isolated efforts are no longer effective.

Enabler Criteria Leadership It examines how the executive team and other managers inspire and drive total quality as the organisation's fundamental process for continuous improvement.

Policy & Strategy


People

It examines how the organisation incorporates the concept of total quality in the determination, communication, implementation, review and improvement of its policy & strategy. It examines how the organisation releases the full potential of its people to improve its business continuously.

Partnership It examines how the organisation improves its business & Resources continuously by optimization of its resources. Processes

RADAR

The RADAR logic is an integral part of the EFQM Excellence Model's application, but also is a valuable management approach in its own right. In short, RADAR states that any organization should:

define the Results it is aiming for plan and develop the Approaches it will use to get there Deploy those approaches, and Assess and Refine (if appropriate) the approaches, based on analysis of the results achieved, and improve approaches where necessary. Back
