This is why Shopping malls and department stores are jam-packed with people on the weekends. A great number of shoppers feel happy while window shopping beautiful clothes, bags, and shoes. So, do you think shopping can actually help you live longer? Scientists believe that you can live longer by shopping more often! According to a 10-year study conducted in Taiwan, people who went To the shops often lived longer than those who didnt. In the national health survey, researchers looked at the shopping habits of almost 2,000 people aged 65 and over for a decade. Of those, 17 percent shopped every day; 22 percent between two and four times a week; 13 percent once a week; and 48 percent even less frequently.

The researcher found that those who shopped daily lived longer than those who shopped less frequently. The researchers from Taiwan's national health research institutes believe this could be because shopping is a fun and enjoyable way of getting exercise. Going to the shops often for window shopping can be an excellent form of exercise. You can also have a regular connection with the community by shopping daily, said the researchers.

A study done by GE Money stated that women spend over 8 years of their life shopping. A woman spends 399 hours and 46 minutes each year shopping. Therefore, in a 63-year period, women will shop for 25,184 hours and 53 minutes. The 399 hours and 46 minutes are broken down into the following: 1.
