How to look at homes.


We will select those properties that most closely meet your unique needs and interests. It is best to preview only a few homes at a time. Identifying up-front what is affordable will save time and frustration. We will schedule time to look at homes and neighborhoods. I will arrange showing appointments with the sellers or their brokers. If the seller or their real estate professional is at the property when we are there, it would be best for you to limit your conversation with them. I will ask you to tell me your thoughts about each property you see positives and negatives. We will continue to assess your needs and buying criteria as we go along.

Submitting an offer:
Once you have found the right home, the next step is to make a purchase offer to the seller. Its a big step. Here are a few considerations well discuss together
Well determine the price you want to offer. Well decide on financing. Well consider other issues that are important to you, such as: Items of personal property youd like included with the property Warranty, inspections, repairs or other enhancements by the seller Closing date and date of possession I will present your offer. Once you have reached agreement with the seller, you have a firm contract!

4 weeks before your move Contact/contract with moving company Have school records transferred Transfer medical, dental and other records Transfer homeowners and auto insurance Keep track of moving-related/tax deductible expenses The week of your move Keep financial records/personal papers with you; dont pack them with your household goods On closing day, the home purchase documents are recorded and the home is yours Move in!
