FINDINGS
#34% of the respondents say they are using Airtel, 24% of the
respondents use Idea Cellular Service, 20% of the respondents use Reliance, 14% of the respondents use BSNL, 8% of the respondents use Tata Indicom Mobile Service.
#38% of the respondents are using Post Paid Connection and 62% of
the respondents are using Prepaid Connection.
#40% of the respondents say they are using Prepaid Services because
of better tariffs plans,easy activation &limited use of mobile 22% of the respondents say they are using Prepaid because migration to any of the scheme is easier, 38% of the respondents say there is no need to go to pay bills.
36% of the respondents say they are using Postpaid as there is no restriction of balance, 22%due to services and 20% due to value added services
respondents will choose prepaid services over postpaid due to easy activation & limited use of mobile phone.
by the Advertisement, 30% choose Airtel because of Performance and 18% choose because of Brand Image
#22% of the respondents say they are not using Airtel services due to
its Tariffs, 16% are not using Airtel due to its Services, 20% of the respodents are not using due to its coverage & 42% due to other reasons.
#Drop Boxes at ATM or at Banks must be there. #Network should be wide. #Tariff plan should have consistent base. It should not fluctuate
frequently.
#Most of the respondents says that if the Hidden Charges are removed
from the tariffs of the Postpaid they are ready to take postpaid connection.
