Why Franchising
Speed of Expansion: No need to open new branch offices. Total responsibility of the franchisee to set up unit. If we can find several qualified franchisees in a variety of markets, we can build several new units simultaneously. Level of Risk: Less financial risk as the franchisee puts up his own money to start the business and takes on the risk of its success or failure. Franchisers just provide operational and marketing support, their "neck is not in the noose" if the business doesn't make it. Level of Control: When you maintain ownership of your new units instead of selling them as franchises, you maintain greater control over your operation. Although a franchise agreement requires franchisees to follow your business model, they are still independent business owners who are responsible for their own profits and losses.
