INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRIES

SAINICO, established in 1993, is one of the fast growing manufacturers of Electrical Accessories in India. SAINICO, a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certified company, is an alliance of India's Largest Range of ISI marked Electrical Accessories and is also on regular DGS&D Rate Contract since 1994.

TRIAC
SCRs are unidirectional (oneway) current devices, making them useful for controlling DC only. If two SCRs are joined in back-to-back parallel fashion just like two Shockley diodes were joined together to form a DIAC, we have a new device known as the TRIAC

Like all diodes, Shockley diodes are unidirectional devices; that is, these only conduct current in one direction. If bidirectional (AC) operation is desired, two Shockley diodes may be joined in parallel facing different directions to form a new kind of thyristor, the DIAC:

SWITCHES
Switches are not essential for breadboard circuits because . you can make or break links with pieces of wire. The on/off switch from soldered projects can also be omitted if you are willing to unclip the battery instead. If you wish to buy a few switches the most useful types are push-to-make and miniature SPDT toggle switches, 3 of each.

Variable Resistor
Presets are cheaper than standard variable resistors

but most have pins which are too large for breadboards. For breadboard circuits is is probably best to buy standard variable resistors and solder short single core 1/0.6mm wires onto them The useful values are: 10k LIN, 100k LIN and 1M LIN, buy 2 of each. A 1M LOG potentiometer is useful too. Knobs are optional because it is easy to turn the spindles by hand.

RESISTOR COLOUR CODING

The resistance is marked on the resistor body using a color code with 3-4 bands of color. See the chart. The first and second bands denote the first two digits of the resistance value and the third band indicates the multiplier that is applied to that value The fourth band is the tolerance of the resistor or how accurate (or inaccurate) the actual value could be from the stated value.

RESULTS
In our industrial training we have studied about the FAN REGULATOR. These instruments generally used for speed control of fan and control light intensity of bulb. With the help of these instruments we can control speed & light intensity of FAN & BULB. In ckt Basically RESISTOR, CAPACITOR, DIAC & TRIAC is used for control speed of FAN.
