EAI (enterprise application integration) is a business computing term for the plans, methods, and tools aimed at modernizing, consolidating, and coordinating the computer applications in an enterprise. Enterprise Application Integration is the term used to describe the integration of the computer applications of an enterprise so as to maximize their utility throughout the enterprise. In todays business environment it has become essential for enterprises to make extensive use of computer systems and applications in order to establish and maintain a competitive advantage.

In management information systems, a dashboard is an executive information system user interface that (similar to an automobile's dashboard) is designed to be easy to read. Digital Dashboards are real time visualization tools of critical business indicators that help in decision making.
