HR MISSION AND VISION OF HINDALCO:HR MISSION:To proactively access and provide services for the HR needs of the business and customer for the attainment of organizational goal.

What is HRD?
Human Resource Development (HRD) is the framework for helping employees develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities

HRD Policy:Provide inputs to the employees for developing their attitude towards work and for matching their competencies with the organizational requirements
Identify development needs of the employees on a regular basis, provide the necessary training and continually evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the training so that the quality of the training also gets upgraded

Create an environment of learning and knowledge sharing by providing the means and facilities and also access to the relevant information
Facilitate the employees for continuous development of their knowledge base, skills, efficiency, innovativeness, self-expression and behaviour so that they contribute positively with commitment for the growth and prosperity of the organization while maintaining a high level of motivation and satisfaction Prepare employees through appropriate development programs for taking up higher responsibilities in the organization Fulfil social obligations by providing training to the students of educational institutions and to the trainees of other organizations

HRD CONSISTS:Leaves:The leaves provided by the organization to the employees are of four types:- Earn leave(EL) -1 day leave per 14 earning days (max.22 in a year). - Casual leave(CL)-10 days to 12 per annum. - Shift leave (SL)-8 hrs. per day & up to 48 hrs per week. - Monthly allowances for 100% attendance Rs. 150 per month & Rs.700 per annum(26 days). - Max 50 hrs. of overtime per months. Working shifts:There are four working shifts:7.30 am in the morning to 3.00 pm in the evening 3.00 am in the evening to 11.00 pm in the night. 11.00 pm in the night to 7.00 am in the morning 8.00 in the morning to 5.30 pm in the evening.

Pay roll consists:Wages to workers. Salaries to the employee.

Bonus & increment.


Gratuity &Ex- Gratia. Loan & facilities.

C) Manoranjanalaya:-It is core of entertainment activities it also organizes G.K competition known as samanya gyan pratiyogita twice a year, with a membership fees of Rs.25 per month, it has a membership of 2000. D) Rural and Social Development:- To improve the weaker section of the society, the company is engaged in a series of welfare driven initiative the company has adopted 307 villagers surrounding the aluminum complex at Renukoot.The following programmes hell like medical campus, family welfare programmes, spreading literacy, provision for clean & safe drinking water Grihudyog,Pashupalan,Laghuodyog etc. E) Canteen:-The company has a well equipped canteen for its employees. There are 138workers and 11 states to manage canteen. It provided highly subsidized foodstuff to the employees. Payment equivalent to 13 days wages/salary for each block of two year of completed beyond 25 year of service . The amount is subject to a maximum of 3 month wages/salary.

Leave Travel Assistance (LTA):Company also gives travel assistance to its employees. To claim the LTA the employee should have worked for at least 280 days in a calendar year. Rule of payment are:-
