Smart Board Area

Story Area
This area is used for storytelling when time permits.

Newspaper and Periodical Area

There is a small section on the back wall for newspapers and magazines.

Computer Area
There are 15 student computers in the library. There are 3 workstations that look like the one in the picture and one large workstation. Due to funding, there are no laptops for students or teachers in the library.

Storage Room
The storage room is a small room housed in the back of the library. Students are not allowed in this area. This room holds most of the equipment that teachers can check out and is used to store old computers and laptops. This storage room is actually about the same size as a small closet.

AV Room
These pictures are of the AV room. This room houses all of the electrical wiring for the school. It also contains a variety of videos for teachers to use in their classrooms.

Teacher Work Area

There are many cabinets for storage and a copy machine. This room is at the back of the library. It contains the Ellison machine.

Parent Resource Center

This room stores the resources that are available for parents to use. It also houses the laminator. Most of the time, the media clerk does the work for the teachers and returns it to their classrooms. However, on occasion, teachers must do the work for themselves!

Book Arrangement
These shelves contain the fiction and nonfiction books. The nonfiction books are along the sides of the media center and the fiction books are arranged on shelves in the middle of the library.

Reference Section
These reference books are located along the wall by the exit. These books can be used but not checked out of the library.
