INCEPTION
Till 1970s Kheda District had no facilities for education of hearing impaired children Rotarians of Nadiad were envisaging to start a permanent community service project A separate Trust viz. Rotary Club Nadiad Samajseva and Sanshodhan Trust In 1976, with blessings of Mahant Narayandasji Maharaj of Santram Mandir, SHREE S. G. BRAHMBHATT BADHIR VIDHYAVIHAR

PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL

Started in 1998 Financial Support of longtime associate Founder Member Shri Rameshbhai Parikh Average Age of children admitted in this section is reduced to 2 to 3 years Children and their parents especially mothers are given Auditory and Speech Training Showed encouraging results and helps the children in further education and training Mothers are the most important link of this program

BADHIR VIDHYA VIHAR

Named after the major donor Shri S. G. Brambhatt Started in 1976 as a single class of 6 children At present its more than 240 students accommodated in 24 classes Grown to be one of the best schools in the state Stressed more on visual training as the deaf impaired are very sharp observers Considering the need to provide education with normal students the school provides the same curriculum and draws the same examination papers of the normal students

SECONDARY SCHOOL

Gujarat State facilities for Secondary and Higher Education were not available at all to deaf children. Govt. granted permission in 2003 This school is privileged to become the first ever special secondary school for deaf First batch appeared for SSC Examination in March 2006 and cleared with hundred percent result and continuing the same They only need proper guidance and facilities The trust runs the school with public support and no Govt. support The best school in the district

Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Center

Even normal persons find it difficult to get any worth while job Started in 1999 First time in Gujarat State Major Finance from Shri G. H. Patel Charitable Trust Training on trades like Computer, Paper padia in making Knitting, Sewing, Ele. Motor rewinding, Carpentry, Lethe & Fabrication, Candle Making, etc. Completion of course Student are given certificate:

Continued. Examinations conducted by T.E.B and certificates will be given to successful candidates Still adding more trades in the cart

Offset Printing Training Center


SBI sponsered this unit in 1987 Four colour offset printing press, letter press, screen printing and book binding activities Eight students are trained in printing work every year Helps to start a firm independently

Auditory Training & Speech Centre


Provide very fruitful services to hearing impaired children Every deaf student is inspected here Audiometer, Impedance Audiometer, Otoacoustic Emission and such high facilities are used to make a detail study Appropriate hearing aid is provided and auditory training initiates Speech training is given using the software Dr. Speech All audiometric and other relevant data is computerized which helps as to monitor the progress of the child more effectively

Info Lab
A computer lab for children to find out the necessary information from computer This is called visual training Seeing the details on computer monitor they very easily understand the subject Their ability to communicate without speech is very well developed with the use of computer network

Hostel
Over 270 children coming from all over Gujarat stay in the hostel The spacious and well ventilated dormitories with all modern facilities are available for the comfortable living Large dinning hall accomodates all the children at a time

Amusement Park
This park is dedicated in the memory of Late Dr. Jayant Shah the founder president of the Trust Spreaded over 3 acres of lash green land Consists of Mini Train, Ropeway, Merry-goRound and many other games Children of the school as well as general public enjoy these facilities Over 5000 children from various schools of the district visit this garden for a day long picnic every year

Senior Citizen Corner


One part of the amusement park serves the senior citizen Under the large green trees comfortable sitting arrangement is provided to senior citizen There is a temple dedicated to all major religions of the world Senior citizens appreciate the facilities

Maintenance Fund for a days expense One year Educational expense of a student Provide tools/appliances under Sadhan Sahay Yojana Utilized to meet one day food bill of the students on the designated day suggested by the donor Provide a child with advanced hearing aid To become a donor member and eligible to nominates a representative in the Managing Council of the Trust Donors name in one of the future permanent projects of the Trust and will be entitled to nominate four representatives in Managing Council.
