Role of teacher in the past

In past people were less aware, teacher was the only source of knowledge and that s why he was the center of attention.

Role of teacher in present age

This the age of information technology, there is too much information available on internet & TV to the people and the flow of new information is much faster than before so now teacher is become a knowledge sharing friend.

Old concept of discipline

Forcefully manipulate an environment under which people will behave in a way you want

Modern Concept of Discipline

Discipline is a required behavior in a particular environment to achieve a specific objective

Need for discipline in the class room

If there is no discipline in the class the process to transferring know will suffer badly and overall objective of optimization may not be achieved.

Causes for Indiscipline in the class

1- Issues on teacher s end 2- Issues on students end 3- Issues on management end

Issues on teacher s end

Physical appearance is not impressive. Lack of Subject knowledge Unaware of students mental situation at the time of that particular period. Unaware of students areas of joint interest. Interaction with students General behavior of teacher.

Issues on students end

Family problems Not getting the basic concepts Pampered kid Psychologically little slow Just studying subjects at his parents will. Took admission during the session.

Issues on management end Unable to provide comfortable facilities Unable to provide competent teacher Lack of interaction with parents regarding student issues. Lack of Teacher trainings

Effects of Indiscipline in the classroom

The transmitted message may collide with communication barrier and mostly not get required feedback from the class which can badly effect the efficiency and effectiveness whole teaching plan.

Situations a teach face in the classroom 1- Most of the Students are not paying attention in the class. 2- Few Students not paying attention. 3- A specific group is not attentive. 4- Students questions during lecture. 5- Dealing with Dons.

Important things to be considered before dealing with different situations. 1- Time slot 2- Age group 3- Circumstances of any indiscipline action. 3- Student personality type (If you already know him otherwise analyze) 4- Normal attitude & past performance.
