INTRODUCTION

OBJECTIVES
To conduct field survey on water toxicants in target areas of

Jabalpur.
To determine quantitative estimation of Lead, Copper and

Cadmium in water samples

of target areas in Jabalpur

and comparison with standard MPL ( Maximum Permissible Limit ).


To generate data and prepare status report on heavy

metal toxicant of water in Jabalpur.

Plan of work
 Field survey of target areas for lead,copper and cadmium toxicity in natural water sources in jabalpur.  Shortlisting of toxic element for analysis in water sources.  Sample collection.  Sample analysis.

Preparation of status report


The status report will be prepared on basis of findings of the study. The data generated will be used for documentation of the status report and appropriate measures will be suggested.

Statistical Analysis
Statistical analysis of data will be done by using Complete Randomized method described by

Snedecor and Cochran (1994).

Collaboration with other departments


Help from other departments like Veterinary

Biochemistry, Animal Nutrition and ARIS cell will be taken as and when needed.
