Introduction

What is the main downfall of Energy Use nowadays? Thats Energy Wasting ! In future, the most needed Energy Source will be Electrical Energy. E-Home Automation is about :  Developing an Automatic Light Switching System  Developing an Flexible and Powerful Security System Main Purpose of our Project :  Saving Electrical Energy used in home. Project Overview

 

Our project is mainly based on Automatic Person Counting System. This system can be used not only for a house, but also in buildings, trains, buses, flights, ships & many areas. We can use this Automatic Person Counting System to control any system of above areas. As an example for one of these systems, we use this Automatic Person Counting System in our project to develop an Automatic Light Switching System & a Security System.

Main Functionality and Features

Automatic Person Counting System Our system keep track of entering & leaving person count. If some one enters to the room our system count it. And someone goes out system subtract it from the previous count.

 Automatic Light Switching System Light Switching System work with the help of Person Counting System. If the person count is a non-zero value automatically lights will turn on. If the count is equal to zero lights will turn off. And our system allows to use manual system to turn on and turn off lights. This system help to save energy.

 Security System Security System installed in main door. System will turn on when all the members went out.

 Brain of this System are Micro Controllers, its fast & easy.  We use high sensitive IR sensors to detect persons via other unwanted things.  Day / Night Detection.  Implementing system with user friendly interfaces.  Low power consumption and high efficiency control system.  Control system works in power failure.  Design the system for easy problem identifying and easy to maintenance.  Auto detecting security system.

Issues : Miscalculation Does not work for small kids If manual switching is performed automatic switching will not work

Constraints : Assume only the humans walk through a door Assume only one person walk through a door at a time
