Objectives
1. 2. Main Objective: To analyse the contribution of common wealth games 2010 in the economic development of India. For the comparison of the methods, strategy, plan and vision adopted by India for making commonwealth games successes compared to the other countries who have already hosted the games. Sub Objectives: To analyze the impact of common wealth games in various sectors like infrastructure, tourism, employment etc. To know the Awareness of the people of India and the expectations of the people of India from the games. To study the development and the problems Delhi has undergone during the buildup of the games. To access the ability and capability of India as a nation to host a international event like the commonwealth games.

Recommendations
 Need for a post-games audit and detailed social and environmental impact assessment.  Need for a full public disclosure of all finances related to the CWG.  Need for the government to have a long-term legacy plan based on principles of human rights and environmental sustainability.  Need for detailed inquiry into the decision-making and bidding process as well as on the total expenditure of the CWG.  Provision of a high standard of customer service with easily accessible customer care helps lines.

Learning from The study


During this project we understand the importance of time management and group dynamics. This experience gives us a right blend theoretical as well as practical exposure. From this project we learn that proper budget estimation is required to manage allocated funds. We also learned that how to convince respondents and how to make understand them about the purpose behind the study when they are not ready to respond.
