y Call your host mobile. y Once call is connected with each key press user can

What s inside black box

y Black box consists of DTMF

decoder and relay circuits for integrating it with household circuits y Technology used in interactive voice response system (IVRS) i.e. the customer care centre. y DTMF stands for dual tone multiple frequency y Every key of telephone is associated with a tone comprising of frequencies from two groups viz. low freq. and high freq. group.

Designed DTMF decoder circuit which consist of three parts:i. ii. iii.

DTMF to BCD decoder BCD to 1 of 12 decoder Relay circuit controlling

functioning of our circuit displayed via Oscilloscope. y A key press 2 will make the output from relay output +12V y And key press 8 will make it -12V y And key 5 to reset.

Future planning
y Can be integrated with PC or microcontroller y Resulting in dedicated interactive voice response system

(IVRS) y Which can control many devices at once. y This is integrated by the help of a software which we have made which is under pipelines.

y This is the front end user interface for decoding the DTMF

signals. y When any DTMF audio file is sourced to it then

y GUI showing the decoded DTMF signals y For key pressed with more than 1sec delay are considered

new world

 We have used FORTRAN for this.

y In coming days we will be completing the full software y With dedicated IVRS response and fully automatic real

time DTMF decoding. y And your PC will be connected to your appliances as peripherals. y And we can control our house by interacting with audio stored in PC
