Enter a name and
description for the new macro

Assign a letter as a shortcut key for future use

Note:
If you will assign lowercase letter
like “n”, then your shortcut key will be CTRL + n. For uppercase N, it should be CTRL + Shift + n. It is highly useful when running the macro!

On the same drop down box, choose where you want to store your macro

Note:
If you want the macro to be
accessible in any Excel file, choose Personal Macro Workbook. Select This Workbook when you plan to use it only for the current worksheet.

Perform all actions that you want
to include in your macro. Click Use Relative Reference button if you want your macro to be recorded with actions relative to the initial selected cell.

If you assign a shortcut key when you create the macro, you can type that key sequence to run your macro In my previous tutorial, I use lowercase “n”.
so in a new worksheet I will type in CTRL + n

From the macro dialog box, choose the macro you want to execute & click Run
