SCOPE OF STUDY

The study attempts to identify the reach of


Nokia mobile, and also indicates the various
factors that influence the buying behavior of
people and help the companies to know
what is expected of their product. This
would help the company in formulating the
suitable strategies.
OBJECTIVES

To study the attitude and satisfaction


among the consumers for Nokia mobile.

To study and analyze various factors


influencing the consumers’ decision to
purchase the Nokia mobile.

FINDINGS

 It has been found that the share of


Nokia is around 62% as compared to
other mobile phones which is comp-
rised of 69% females and 61% males.

 When asked whether people would like to go for


Nokia brand in the near future, about 64% males and
57% females responded to it positively followed by
21% females and 17 % males opting for Samsung as
the next best option for purchase.

 As far as factors affecting the purchase of a
mobile is concerned, it is seen that women
as well as men prefer that brand of mobile
which is easily available accounting for
about 93% and 88% respectively. The
second factor of preference is user friendly
attributes of the mobile, which is closely
followed by latest features and lastly the
factor that is considered while purchasing a
mobile is the after sales service of it.
CONCLUSION

 Nokia has a brand image in the minds of the


people and so it is preferred more as compared to
other mobiles. Moreover its latest attractive
features and user friendly attributes as well as its
availability makes it the most preferred brand
among all others.
 Nokia would continue to enjoy the preference of
people in the near future also.
RECOMMENDATIONS

Most of the people prefer to use dual


sim card handsets which are priced at
low cost marketed by Micromax
,Videocon etc. so if Nokia comes out
with dual sim card handsets with a price
tag of 5000 and below surely it would
be able to sustain its present market
share and hold its current market
position.
