m There are many causes that lead to the contribution of this problem. m Causes include many social and cultural factors as well as mental illness. m One of the causes is teenage pregnancy (main factor) m This is a study on the teenage pregnancy and how it become a root to the cases of abandoned children in Malaysia. m Other factors involve such as family break- up, and also poverty. m However, according to the reliable statistic for year 1998 until 2010, the most suspected according to jobs were among the students- age around13- 25 years old. (teenagers). m The abandonment of children become a current phenomenon in Malaysia. Different aspect of the problem has been traced by different researchers. m However, there is a need to look into the teenage pregnancy as an aspect that required researcher to conduct a proper research. m Therefore, it is expected that the results of this research may highlight the understanding of the teenage pregnancy as a main factor to the baby dumping in Malaysia.
