 When did Jazz begin?
Jazz originated from African Americans in the
late 19th century in New Orleans, Louisiana, has
a history of 100 years. From the earliest
"ragtime" and "Folk Blues" to a large-scale New
Orleans Jazz; from the famous collective
improvisation "dixielan" in the 1920s to the
"swing music" in the 1930s; from the pursuit of
superb improvisation based on chord
performance in the 1940s to the "bebop" in the
1950s and 1960s with different styles From the

elements.For pure jazz: if it is in China, it has never been popular, even now it is
still a small number of people. It is not clear whether foreign music is popular or
not, but jazz education abroad has become the foundation of music education. High sc
hool and college student bands are everywhere.Popular music with jazz elements, this
is not called jazz. There is jazz in almost every style of music.

• Pop music is a big part of it And jazz has a certain specializationNot everyone can
appreciate it. This limits the number of people who appreciate it.
Different cultures, different environments
• After all, it is the music that comes from abroad. We don't have this kind of enviro
nment. There are cultural differences. And for a long time, we didn't have a ballroo
m for the development of jazz, and the folk didn't support individual musicians. The
