What is RHYTHM?
Rhythm is a beat we hear that
goes on and on. It may also stop
at some point. There are also
times when there is silence, one
after the other.

1. Follow the actions while saying,
“Clap, rest, clap, rest.”
2. Say, “Tweet, “ while acting like a bird.
(Pretend that you are flying
Say, “Quack,” while acting like a
duck and moving around.
3. Play the toy drums and say, “ Boom, boom,
boom,” while marching on the beat.
Say, “Ding,” while bending to your right and
say, “Dong,” while bending to your left.
Steady Beats
Steady beat is the most
fundamental concept in music.
It's the ongoing, steady,
repetitive pulse that occurs in
songs, chants, rhymes, and
music.
Rhythmic Patterns
rhythmic pattern as a
succession of musical events
contained within a single metric
unit that corresponds to a
single main beat.
