Ensure product process requirement design convergence
Deliverables - milestone co-ordination

 Obtain Product/Process/requirement/Design technical convergence:

 Obtain a finished vehicle which complies with the PPPD requests in compliance with the DIV
metier rules (RTC and RCC) and regulatory and certification constraints

 Obtain a finished vehicle which is consistent where all the parts are compatible between
them, can be assembled in the plant and disassembled in after-sales

 The engineer co-ordinates the PPPD convergence

 Organise regular de-evaluation points of convergence (DL and PMDR) and contractualize the
information exchange (specifications, digitisations etc) and physical parts between the
Engineers, customer requirements leader (PPC) and elementary function group leader
(PFE) and design and assembly engineers

 Process the deviations stated by controlling of solution search in the LUP tool (Single list of
problems)

 Co-ordinate the geometical convergence (compliance) and AVES of the vehicle in the
industrialisation phase

 Two body definitions as per the validation requirements
 Modifications of mass production body:  requested project parts interfaces which are
representative of the comply with the geometry but not guaranteed in stiffness
• MC GMP DIM & DPC = GMP+ SMO + air inlet + cooling + carburetion + exhaust

• MC LAS = suspension + steering + braking
• MC ESP = LAS + ESP + powertrain evolution
 Proto Bodywork: representative in geometry and in stiffness
• MC Crash =  Front/rear unit

Which does not change/Slot :

 These are supports which are assembled with the IOD parts. Their maturity can
be compared with the one of Slot V1. They complete the disassociated supports
and the analysis loops

 They are subject to measurements and evaluation which will be used as

geometric and product process convergence: AVES static, perceived quality,
RCC, 1D and 3D measurements, monitoring plan

 They give a sufficient maturity level to the project for entry in the plant:
 Detect, analyse, process the fittability problems
 Complete the drafting and implement the FOP and FOS
 Initiate training for the plant operator

VEHICLE CHECK (VC)

What changes/Slot :
 VC vehicles are not meant for synthesis validations No AVES dynamic. They
are a part of the system loop.

 VC vehicles contain only Brother or Child child powertrains resulting directly

from the powetrain plants. They are assembled with the IOD parts.

 CMO units are assembled simultaneously with Mother engines which do not
function and the interfaces comply with completion TD.

 Bodywork is completed in the plant alongwith a prototype workshop. Plant body

compliance is the reponsibility of DICAP. The bodies and units produced by
DIPV is the responsibility of DIPV.

 All the results in VC are not expected for PT1 product tryout If required,
implementation of temporary solutions for PT1
 The number of supports

To realize the second Review Regulation: Regulatory Review VPC

Objective of the process in this phase: ensure that

 regulatory requirements are integrated by the Project in the genes of the vehicle,
 the regulatory risks are arbitrated,
 the regulatory problems remaining are all subject to an action plan approved by the opening of
assistant CVE with LUP.

Between the two regulatory review (PC and VPC): PFE, IST

  Apply the standards (CoC, PSTN / RCC / Maps type, ...) branded R

 Identify technical solutions to identified risks Regulatory during the first review in PC,
and to validate the RRSH concerned

 Identify the parts list to be certified by the Providers to specific project (based on the
generic list) approach for ANPQP

chaired by assistant CVE

To realize the regulatory review VPC Animated by the
interlocutor regulatory

 To confirm that all R risks have a technical solution validated by RRSH concerned and
confirm the implementation of the standard branded R. Residual risks are accepted by the
assistant CVE (with opening LUP)

 To freeze innovations and define the action plan for those in conflict with the
regulations (arbitration, opening LUP)
