Product Introduction

Huawei has developed the eA300 for the data access unit (DAU) of the eLTE-
IoT wireless gateway. It implements the transfer between narrowband wireless data
and wired local area network (LAN) data, and provides the data backhaul function.
The eA300 can be deployed outdoors and used independently.
The eLTE-IoT DAU eA300 supports Litefire 1.1 wireless access technology. The
eLTE-IoT DAU eA300 supports wired network access and provides narrowband
data access services.

The eA300 can work on any band between 902 MHz and 928 MHz as required.
The Iceni/boudica module can be used for surface mounting.

Product Highlights
The eA300, also a wireless access terminal product, adopts series design. It
supports RAT evolution, quick customization, and fast delivery.
The eA300 supports the following specifications:
902–928 MHz band (supported by the eA300-8a)
NB-IoT narrowband data services
Web-based management, which is easy and intuitive
Remote device management
LED indicators, which help observe the eA300 working status during installation
and commissioning
Internal high-gain omnidirectional antenna design
 Surge protection, which improves the protection capability of the eA300 when it
is deployed outdoors
IP65 housing protection

Local Login to the eA300 on the Web
Login to the management
web page
The configuration and management web
page of the eA300 is hosted on a web user
interface (WebUI) and allows eA300
configuration, including parameter
configuration and function management.
Prerequisites:
1.Connect the eA300 to the computer by
using a network cable.
2.Set the IP address of the computer
properly so that it is in the same network
segment as the IP address of the eA680-
208.

Note:
The default IP address of the eA300 is 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
It is recommended that the IP addresses of the eA300 and domain name server (DNS) be obtained automatically. If you
set the IP address of the eA300 manually, be sure to set the IP address of the DNS to be the same as that of the
eA300; otherwise, you cannot log in to the management web page of the eA300.

Open the web browser and enter https://192.168.1.1 in the address box.
Enter the correct user name and password to log in to the management web page of the eA300.

Note:
The default user name and password are admin and admin, respectively.

 Password Change

Note: The default initial password for logging in to the eA300 on the web is admin. If you forget the changed
password, you cannot log in to the eA300 locally on the web for data configuration.

Traffic Measurement
The traffic statistics function records the network traffic and duration of the current connection as well as that since you
last restored the device to its default settings

 Update
Upgrading the eA300 at the local end
Log in to the management web page of the eA300. Choose Update > Local Update. On the Local
Update page, click Browse to select the local upgrade file, and click Update.

 DHCP Configuration
Log in to the management web page of the eA300.
Choose Settings > DHCP.
Set IP address and Subnet mask.
Set Start IP address and End IP address. Click Apply
A DHCP client can automatically obtain the TCP/IP configuration from the DHCP server when the server is started.

Serial port management
Log in to the management web page of the eA300.
Choose“Settings > Serial Manage” 。
You can configure the connection method and COM port parameters according to different scenarios.

IoT Network Configuration
Choose Settings > IoT Network Settings.
In IoT Network Settings, enter the IoT Network Settings value.
On the IOT Network Settings page, the IP address can be bound, the frequency hopping switch can be
turned on or off, and the frequency can be set.

Configuration File Backup and Restoration
The backup function is used to export the current settings of the device and save them as a configuration file. To update the
current settings, use the restore function to import the configuration file to the device.

System Check
On the DAU WebUI, diagnose the cause of the network connection exception through System Check.
Select Settings > System> Diagnosis.
Select System Check in the Diagnosis method drop-down list.
Click Check.
The diagnostic results of the system check can be done by clicking the Export button.

Restoring Factory Settings
After you restore the device to its default settings, your personal information will be
deleted, and parameters will be restored to their default values.
Procedure
Choose Settings > System > Restore Defaults .
Click Restore.

Soft Reset
You can click Restart to perform soft reset on the eA300, as shown in the figure above .

 System Logs
Enter the DAU WEB UI interface, click Settings > System > System Logs, you can see and export the
System Logs.
