Philippines in early 2002,
with the support of UNHCR.

• Three CP manuals were

produced and published by
the NDCC.

prompting the need to enhance the CP
methodology.

• On 2014, the NDRRMC and the National

Security Council, with technical support from the
UN ESCAP, started the work on the new CP
Guidebook.

 General Objective

At the end of the training, the participants

will be able to obtain the knowledge, skills
and attitude that are essential in formulating
a contingency plan that is responsive to the
needs that will arise during a worst-case
disaster situation.
