of improvement be attained

hidden faculties of the child

man from one stage of development to other
THE MISSION OF EDUCATION

• Education elevates the country to the highest seat of


immortal glory
• Education is the greatest benefactor of human being
• By education the humsn breast is inflamed with love
of good and noble which are balsam of life
• The aim of education is the development of people’s
mentality
• Mistaken concept of education: education aims making
citizen a professional man; education is reception of
diplomas; educational institution as diploma mills
• The real aim of education is not quantity but in quality;
quantity is immaterial but quality is first consideration
• The first mission f education is to open the
possibility of the future; to open their vision to
change things ahead of them
• Education will elevate their aspirations, guide their
actions and enrich their lives
• The most commendable effect of education is to
enable individual see many things in wider
perspective
• Education is a success if individual acquire new
ideas to change his point of view for the better
• Far reaching significance of education is individual
aware of his rights
• Education aims the development of self-
consciousness as well as consciousness that he is
part of the great whole
• Self- consciousness includes his consciousness of
individual rights but the consciousness that he is part
of the bigger group makes him aware of his
obligation to the organic whole. Education will teach
him his duties to society
• Education is the foundation of the best interest of the
society
• John Dewey- school is connecting agency between
society and child
• School is the foundation of social structure
• The obstacle to reform education lies in the
ignorance of the people
• Reform is the enlightened way to progress
• Progress begins with education and ends in more

EDUCATING THE EDUCATORS

• Lack of financial aid is a very great obstacle in


educational program
• Lack of stimulus to makes children study is the
second greatest obstacle
• Home is the great social force in people’s education
• The centers of learning are the greatest factor in
education
• Home can be best interest of enlightenment if parents
help in molding the children’s mentality towards
social progress
• The aim is to produce a well-balanced mentality
appeals to nothing but reason guided by one thought
of progress
• Care must be taken that the school not a place of
pain and torment but of intellectual recreation
• Educator is another factor that cannot be divorced
from the school
• There is moral responsibility for an educator
• Educator cannot be tyrannical, narrow-minded and
fanatical
• A good teacher must have honorable personality to
command respect from students
• The best teacher is one who teaches by word of
mouth and by examples of deeds
• There is an inherent tendency for every individual to
perfect himself.
• there is an innate desire for every man to cultivate
his intelligence
