 FAQ’s
Q: In case damaged/faulty/lost of modem & ONT, what charges will be
charged from customer in GPON?
Ans: Rs. 15000/- onetime will be charged to the customer for provisioning of
new GPON ONT.

Q: What is mean by “Free DSL backup for one month (Customers 1 month
DSL charges will be waived off)”
Ans: It means that one month package charges of his existing DSL connection
will not apply. After that it’s his own choice to continue for both GPON & DSL
at the same time or keep one (both charged).
Q: How PTCL will provide free UPS to customer & what accessories will
provide to customer with UPS i.e. batteries?
Ans: UPS (with internal built in batteries) is for GPON ONT and its related
equipment only. It is subject to availability of stocks.

Q: How current GPON customers get free UPS? What will the TAT for the
deliverance of UPS to Existing customers
Ans: Ideally, it will be provided at the time of GPON installation but keep in
 mind that we have a limited stock so regions are authorized to provide UPS
to the customer if available.

Q: For installation Charges in option2 will customer submit the security check
of 12000 to GM Finance or not?
Ans: Yes.
