Chapter 3.

Across the Moor

Chapter III talks about the arrival of Mary and Mrs. Medlock at
the train station to continue with a long way to go, when a
carriage arrived waiting for them, which would take them to
continue their way to the strange place at which were heading.

Mary felt a certain fear and doubt about what could happen to
her in a house located on the Edge of the moor and she would
find the answer in the five miles that still had to travel, but by
then everything was going to be dark.
Chapter 4. Martha

At the beginning of Chapter 4, he talks about how little Mary


meets her new maid, but is surprised that this person named
Martha is not like the maids of India. Martha tells him about
Mr. Craven's secret garden and tells him to go for a walk on the
moor

When he goes out to touch the moor, he knows the gardens of


the place until he meets an employee who says he can visit all
the gardens. When he reached the limit he saw a bird standing
in a tree that was in the forbidden garden. what caught his
attention and asked the old man again until they became friends
and the bird arrived at the place where they were and the old
man told him that he was his friend, that the bird was very
intelligent. The parajo left and when I return I ask Mary to be
friends according to the old man.
