Plato is not insterested on how
Sparta developed its people
successfully in the military point of
view but rather how have a society
with fulfilled people
THE REPUBLIC (pointed out
changes that needed to be made)
•New celebrities to admire (guardians-wise
and good people, models for everyone’s
development)
•Wants to end democracy (few people think
properly before they vote as such they get
substandard rulers); prevent people from
voting until they start to think rationaly (until
they become philisophers)
