LEARNING DELIVERY MODALITY

1. MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING
In Modular Distance Learning students will be given modules and other learning
materials that they will study at home. Notre Dame will provide modules and
other learning materials at no cost. Modules may be Printed or Digital.

In Printed Modular Distance Learning there’s no need to use gadget for

A. PRINTED studying.

Students will be given printed modules that they will study and answer
at home. We will designate a specific place near their areas for them to
get their modules. Only Parents or Guardians can get the modules for
them.
B. DIGITAL Digital Modular Distance Learning are for students who
have gadgets at home but no internet connection.

Students will be given digital files saved in a flash

drive or CD/DVD that they will study and answer
with the use of their available gadget at home like
laptop or pc.
The school will schedule the distribution of the said
materials.
There will be designated kiosks near their areas.
2. ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING

A. SYNCHRONOUS Online Distance Learning

Synchronous learning is the kind of learning that happens in
real time. This means that you, your classmates, and your
teacher interact in a specific virtual place, through a specific
online medium, at a specific time. In other words, it’s not
exactly anywhere, anyhow, anytime. Methods of synchronous
online learning include video conferencing, teleconferencing,
live chatting, and live-streaming lectures. The students will
have once or twice a week schedule of synchronous learning.
 B. ASYNCHRONOUS Online Distance Learning

Asynchronous learning happens on your schedule. While your course of study or your
subject teacher will provide materials for reading, lectures for viewing, assignments for
completing, and exams for evaluation, you have the ability to access and satisfy these
requirements within a flexible time frame. Methods of asynchronous online learning
include self-guided lesson modules, streaming video content, virtual libraries, posted
lecture notes, and exchanges across discussion boards or social media platforms.
