 I chose this article because it talks about
the plastic work of one of my favorite
Colombian artists, a pioneer of modern art
and the concept of art in general of the
20th century in the country. It talks about
the most important works of one of the
most violent periods in Colombia, his
technique leaning more towards thick
lines, idealized figures, large surfaces and
unfocused characteristics made the

 This article tells us a bit about the life and work
of this important Colombian artist, about how
art being a Sociocultural phenomenon made
possible the social complaint, being a strong
transgressor of the events that involved the
country, in this case violence and how it allows
thanks to memory to resignify the victims, also
tells us the four most emblematic works of art
of this great Colombian artist.
