× Está escrita en toscano, pero también recurre a latinismos.
× La estructura física y los presupuestos ideológicos y morales
están concebidos de acuerdo a las doctrinas y tradiciones
medievales.
× Abundan las alusiones mitológicas asi como las simbologías
(Dante= hombre perdido por el pecado; Beatriz= la fe;
Virgilio= la razón)
× El núcleo central de la historia se entrelaza así con temas
como la fe en Dios, la ética o la moral.
× El poema está compuesto siguiendo el simbolismo del
número tres, que evoca la Trinidad Sagrada: el Padre, el
Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Además, Dante también recurre al
número diez a través de los cien cantos que conforman la
comedia y los diez niveles del Infierno.

IMPORTANCIA:
o Literalmente , se trata del viaje que realiza el autor por el
infierno, el Purgatorio y el Paraíso, donde puede observar la
fealdad del mal y el poder del bien . Comprende una vez
purificado, puede acercarse a Dios, comprenderlo y salvarse .
o Alegóricamente , es, la vicisitud del alma humana que ,
extraviada, se salva con ayuda de la razón (Virgilio) y lo
divino (Beatriz).
o Moralmente , enseña que es fácil en perderse en el pecado (la
selva), qué dif ícil es salir de él por el peso de las pasiones (las
fieras), y cuán necesaria es la ayuda del esfuerzo (Virgilio) y lo
divino (Beatriz).
o Análogamente , muestra las dif íciles condiciones de vida y
enseña la necesidad que tenemos de recibir ayuda de Dios y
de la iglesia.
o Así mismo, la Divina Comedia de Dante representa la obra
que sirve de transición entre el pensamiento medieval , el cual
tenía a Dios como centro, al Renacimiento, que coloca al
humano en el eje fundamental del pensamiento.
