WHAT IS YOUR PRESENT UNDERSTANDING/POSITION

OF BELIEVING?

My present understanding is that

we are entitled to choose what we
believe. There are many religions
with different beliefs, different
name of God but definitely
pertaining to only one God.
How did you come to the understanding of your thinking?
When did you realized/originally think your
position/feelings/thoughts on Believing?
There are different religions and name of Gods but we have only one
God. I did came to this understanding because no matter what are
religion is, we have that belief that there is someone who is watching
us from above. As told by others too, it's the faith that matters, not
the religion. During this time of my life, I have realized that in order
for us to receive we must first believe. Like for example, if we have
ailments and we want to feel better we call a doctor and believe that
he/she will be able to cure us. Same is through our belief in God, If
we want to be save and enter into heaven when our time comes we
have to believe that God is watching us from above and so in order
for use to enter heaven we have to believe the words of God. We
have to take the word of God, believe in it and apply it in our
everyday life.

phers/theorists) regarding Believing?
Others perspective about believing is defining it as a
mental representation of an attitude positively oriented
towards the likelihood of something being true.
My family’s perspective is also the same as mine. We have
a common belief about something and especially God. So
what others perspective about Believing, I think there is
only one common – we believe in a positively oriented
manner.

regarding your God and
your religious views.
My personal belief about my God is:
As a Christian, I believe that there
is only one God. The creator of
Heaven and earth. I believe in a
God that is merciful and always there
in times of troubles. The God which I
believe is not seen but I know He sees me
and He know the better for all of us. Regarding
my religious view, I’m a Christian, so I am not
only to believe God but I have to be like God. Not
necessary to die in the cross but I have to apply the
living word of God to my everyday life so that I will
become Christ like. I have to follow and accept Jesus
Christ as my saviour.

yourself
Believing on my self is very important. Why? because the
first step to success is self-esteem. So if I don’t believe in
myself who will believe in me?
So I have developed my self-esteem. I believe that
whatever happens to my life, I can surpass it. I don’t want
to limit my self. If there is a new phase of learning, I will
have the will to take it. So if I want to succeed in my
studies and in my life, fist I have to believe my self. I have
to believe that I can go farther than what is in my mind.
Another thing is that, if I believe in myself, I can gain
respect from others. they might see me as a source of
insight and motivation.
Look at the beliefs you have regarding you family.
For me, family is everything. Aside from believing in my self I have to believe my
family members too. Believing in my family members shows the love I have for
them. Since when I was a born my parents look after me, and my siblings also
there for me. So I have a strong belief on them. In all the challenges to take in
life, I always consider them in my decisions. I always consult my parents about
my decisions because I believe that their experiences as parents and elder gave
them wisdom, and I have the belief that they know the best for me and for our
family. Showing love in another way is believing them, believing in their
capabilities and strengths.

friends
I believe that life is better with friends.
Believing someone who does not belong
to my family is also important because
every time we go out we meet other
people. We are not alone so we need
company for us to grow and succeed in
our life as the saying goes “no man is an
island”. I have belief in them that they
also there for me when no one cares.
They will also look after me like my
family. I have believe in them and for
that they feel that they are also my
family. I believe that no matter what
happens, they will stay for me because
true friends never leave, maybe they will
away for a while but I’m sure I’m always
in their heart and I believe that
someday, I can be with them in God’s
time.
Look at the belief you have regarding school
I know that it is a common knowledge to all of us, that school is our second home,
help us and mold us to become a better future and to become good and productive
citizen in the future. So I have always believed the school where I studied. During my
primary education until my secondary education. I have that belief that the school
will give me facts, knowledge and understanding that might serve to me as a tool
when I finish my studies and face the world. I mean the challenges outside the four
corners of the school. I believe that teachers have the power to build me to a person
that I want to be. They have the right tools to supplement my parents to develop me
as whole. So whatever the school gave me for as long as it does not take me any
harm I will take it, because basically, those theories and facts given by the teachers
will help me to overcome real life problems. They give real life situations so that I can
cope up to this fast changing world.
