This document discusses leadership styles presented by students at the Bengal College of Engineering and Technology in Durgapur. It begins by acknowledging the assistance of professors in developing the presentation. The introduction defines leadership as developing a vision to motivate others towards a common goal. It then examines three main leadership styles: autocratic, where all decisions are made by one person; democratic, where decisions involve employees; and laissez-faire, where subordinates have freedom to make decisions. The conclusion states that leadership inspires people while management motivates them towards objectives, and effective organization understands where efforts will work faster or be hindered.

TABLE OF CONTENTS INTRODUCTION THEORY OF LEADERSHIP STYLES OF LEADERSHIP AUTOCRATIC STYLE DEMOCRATIC STYLE LAISSEZ-FAIZE STYLE CONCLUSION REFERENCES INTRODUCTION Leadership is the ability to develop a vision that motivates others to move with a passion toward a common goal. So, leadership is a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more cohesive and coherent. THEORY OF LEADERSHIP STYLES OF LEADERSHIP AUTOCRATIC STYLE The authoritarian leader makes decisions alone as power is centralized in one person. Decisions are enforced using rewards and fear of unprofessional style called bossing people around. DEMOCRATIC STYLE The participative leader include one or more employees in the decision making process. The participation encourages member commitment to the final. LAISSEZ-FAIZE STYLE The free-rein leader gives power to subordinates to make the decision. This is used when employees are able to analyze the situation . CONCLUSION We conclude that the leadership serves to inspire people to greater accomplishments, and management exits to motivate them to the objective. Here the effective organization of the people try to know where they have to work faster or hinder their efforts in producing scalable systems.
