1. Introduction
● 5G aims to streamline the next generation need for speed. [1][2]

● Not just MIMO, massive MIMO!

● Three different operating bands all under the nametag ‘5G’ [1][2][3]

● Expectations of higher gain, streamlined directivity and lower Specific

Absorption Rate

3.Problem Statement

To design and simulate the working of a dual band MIMO antenna for 5G
Wireless Terminal/Mobile
4. Implementation using CST
4. Implementation using HFSS
4. Problems faced
1. Boundaries were not properly defined.
2. Sometimes during debugging, the radiation box was temporarily erased
and never put back.
3. Port refinement errors (this still holds true)
5. Results (using CST)
5. Results (using HFSS)
5. Results (using CST)
5. Results (using HFSS)
6. Conclusion
● The designed antenna was supposed to work at 3.5GHz and 4.8GHz
respectively.
● Port refinement error still exists and must be worked upon.
● Maximum gain of 4.3dBi.
