Look and Layout Maintenance

Our Vision:
 All Smiling Sun Clinics will look almost alike with similar
signing, color and decoration.
 All Smiling Sun Clinics will have standardized facilities to
provide services as per SSFP Quality standards.

 Service Providers will have a common dress as per


category and deliver services of same quality and identity.
Why do we change?
 Attract customer for standard services.
 Make all the clinics identical to all sorts of customers.
 Create same impression on all services to customers.
 Provide services through same manner and environment.
 Reach in easiest way to the customer by wearing identical and
specific dress.
 Ensure continuation of services in case of changing of clinics
with same printing materials like doctors prescription pad, cash
memo etc.
 Maintain the clinics in scientific and proper methods for quality
services.
Painting Procedure
The process of painting can be divided into three parts:

Pre-painting work
This includes preparation work like masonry work, crack filling, water
proofing etc. These have to be undertaken to get the maximum life for
the final paint film.

Surface preparation
This refers to the process of making the surface fit for paint
application. For example, if you are painting your interior walls you
would need to make them smooth by applying Plaster of Paris (POP)
or Putty. Using of biocide wash in case of microbial growth is
recommended.

Painting
This includes the steps to be followed in getting the final paint film on
the surface.
Color Code
Interior wall color code - Brilliant white plastic paint

Ceiling color code -Brilliant white distemper paint

Exterior wall color code -Brilliant white weather coat

Furniture color – Blue enamel paint

Border - Golden yellow & signal red


How to Maintain the Look and Layout of the clinics?

Painting
Ceiling - Clean with long soft broom with care so that light fixture, fan
etc would not be damaged. Clean ceiling along with fan & light
fixtures once in a week.

Interior wall - Don’t touch with wet hand or dirty hand. If becomes
dirty clean with soft cloths.

Exterior wall - Monitor carefully so that no posters, banner etc would


be pasted on the wall. Clean exterior wall along with main signboard twice
in a month

Border - Never cover the border line with any display materials or
board.
How to Maintain the Look and Layout of the clinics?

Tiles- Floor tiles- Keep shoes in shoe rack before entering the clinic
floor. Use soft slipper inside the clinic. Clean the floor with soft brush
twice in a day. Use Phenol (ratio 1:10) weekly for cleaning of the
floor tiles. Cleaning should be done with dry cloths followed by wet
cloths. Never use wet slipper. Be careful during shifting heavy
furniture or medical equipments otherwise tiles may be broken.

Wall tiles- Clean the wall with soft brush twice in a day. Use Phenol
(ratio 1:10) weekly for cleaning of the wall tiles. Cleaning should be
done with dry cloths followed by wet cloths

Stair tiles- Clean the stair with soft brush twice in a day. Use Phenol
(ratio 1:10) weekly for cleaning of the stair tiles. Cleaning should be
done with dry cloths followed by wet cloths.
How to Maintain the Look and Layout of the clinics?

Furniture
Clean the furniture with dry cloths or soft brush daily.
Careful about overloading the rack. Handle the furniture carefully
during shifting otherwise the wall or edge could be damaged.

Soap Dispenser Check and re-fill the dispenser with liquid soap
daily. Handle the push button softly.

Tissue Holder Ensure the holder for paper tissue daily.

Glass (Thai partition, window, furniture etc)


Clean the Glass with
wet and dry cloth daily and with Phenol (ratio 1:10) weekly.

How to Maintain the Look and Layout of the clinics?

Signage

Outdoor signage
Service promoter should ensure the security of
outdoor signage e.g. directional signage, satellite clinic signage, main
clinic signage. Report to clinic manager and take necessary actions
instantly if any damage occurred.

Indoor signage
Don’t use chemical or wet cloths on the printed surface
while cleaning the glass. Use only dry cloths. Don’t try to stick out the
posters and indoor signage. Report to clinic manager and take
necessary actions instantly if any damage occurred.
How to Maintain the Look and Layout of the clinics?

Curtain
Wash the curtains once in a month with detergent. Don’t
touch the curtains with dirty hands.

Uniform
Wash the uniform weekly with detergent. Ensure wearing
clean and ironed uniform during office hour. Keep the uniform to the
admin assistant or place assigned by admin assistant after duty hour.

Printing materials
Ensure appropriate usage of the prescription pad, money
receipts, ESP cards, registration cards etc. Store of spare printing
materials in dry and secured places.
Must be displayed

 Tiahrt poster on the wall under the Red-Yellow border

 Contraceptive tray on the table of counselor, paramedics & doctor


Must not be displayed

 Don’t display any poster without written permission from SSFP

 Don’t display other logo inside & outside of service delivery point

 Don’t deliver any material having other Logo with Smiling Sun
Logo from the clinic in which

 Don’t cover red-yellow border on the wall by any materials

Special Instructions For Maintenance
 Dispose the unused materials after taking approval from SSFP

 If Approval is delayed , store unused furniture and other materials in a


place not accessed by the customer

 If any problem is observed in painted wall ,ceiling & furniture,


paint on the damage spot as per our technical specification & color
code

 Remove all old plastic chair from waiting area & keep it in store &
use as necessary

 If any problem is observed in plumbing lines , repair it immediately with


the help of local plumber
