INTRODUCTION
RC buildings are so durable compared to other materials,
but one of its problem is it’s susceptibility to corrosion
that can cause damages or even collapse specially when
triggered by earthquake.
INTRODUCTION
Natural Zeolite (NZ) has been proven to be useful to SCC
in terms of improving its rheological parameters such as
flow ability, passing ability, resistance to segregation and
viscosity (Clemente and Oreta, 2015)
INTRODUCTION
MAIN OBJECTIVE
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:
a. To determine the permeable porosity, surface and internal absorption and
sorptivity of self-compacting concrete
b. To determine the rheological and compressive strength of self-compacting
concrete in accordance to EFNARC 2002 and ACI C 39.
c. To measure the corrosion resistance of self compacting concrete subjected in
sulfuric acid using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
d. To study the relationship of rheology and compressive strength to corrosion
resistance of SCC
e. To create Artificial Neural Network Model that can predict the corrosion
behavior
f. To analyze the behavior of corrosion in SCC using parametric study
g. To determine the optimum mixture of self compacting concrete that signifies
highest corrosion resistance and strength using genetic algorithm.
