What Is Certification

SAP-SuccessFactors has developed a unique Cloud Certification Program

based on the needs of SuccessFactor Delivery Consultants and Customers.
The Cloud Certification Program has two levels of Certification for
SuccessFactors delivery consultants (Partners and internal PS)
 Associate Certification (Step 1)
 Covers the fundamental knowledge requirements for an SAP consultant to configure and
implement SuccessFactor solutions by module
 Based on the Academy training content
 Includes Delta exam requirements to ensure consultant stays up to date on quarterly releases
 Required for Provisioning Access to a production instance

 Professional Certification (Step 2)

 Proves technical and practical expertise
 Up to date Associate Certification required
 Requires 3 projects completed (2 as lead) within a solution area
 High customer satisfaction results required on projects
 SAP strongly recommends Customers use Professional Consultants only to lead projects

Where Can I Find Out Who Is Certified?

There are several ways to verify Associate and Professional Certification

Status:
• Ask for Certification Credentials – Partners and internal PS can use
Credential Manager to send Certification verifications to customers and
prospects
• Internal SAP employees can check the current list of Certified Partner
consultants here
• The Customer Community has an up to date list of # of Professional
Certified Consultants by Partner, by solution area and region here

What is the Delta Exam Requirements and Process with
SuccessFactors Certification?
 To maintain Associate Certification status, certified consultants must
complete required Delta exams within 6 months of the exam becoming
available
 Frequency for delta exams will depend on the product you are certified
on, and how significant are product updates
 Consultants are notified of Delta Exams becoming available via an email
from Credential Manager
 If consultant does not complete the delta exam within the 6 month
period, the consultant will lose his/her Associate Certification and any
corresponding Professional Certifications.
 Consultants that lose Associate Certification will need to take the Core
Exam again to start over

What if a SuccessFactors product does not have a
certification exam?

 If the SAP Certified Application Associate exam for a SuccessFactors product

has not been released to the Certification Hub, certification will be granted using
the original SuccessFactors guidelines (upon completion of required Academy
training).
 Consultants are then eligible to be “grandfathered” into the new SAP Cloud
Certification program and will receive an email with instructions on what actions
need to be taken within two months of completing the required course content
and final exam (listed at the end of the course content) in the Learning Hub.
 If a Delta exam is released, you must take and successfully pass that exam to
maintain certification.
 It does not matter if you work through a course on the Learning Hub self-paced,
or through an instructor-led offering to gain certification.
