What is Change?
-Fear of unknown
-Stretching out from comfort zone.
-Lack of complete information
-Unlearning and re-learning the skill set
-Threat to expertise
Change in Education
Though there have been reforms in education, but
the reforms concentrated largely on “first-order”
changes – changes that try to make what already
exists more efficient and effective.
Whereas few reforms focused on “second
order” changes – changes designed to alter
the fundamental ways in which schools
operate.
