Coronavirus disease
(COVID-19) is an infectious
disease caused by a new
virus.

The disease causes


respiratory sickness with
symptoms such as a cough,
fever, and in more severe
cases, difficulty in
breathing.
The virus has spread all over the world, In our beloved country the virus till now has its
primary effects. In Bangladesh the government has already taken the initial steps to prevent
the deadliest virus people has ever seen in last few decades.
On 31 March 2020, the Prime Minister announced that the government might
extend the ongoing nation-wide holidays till April 9, 2020 due to the COVID-19
situation. The Prime minister also Add 31 Issues to be done strictly in this critical
situation, Relief for the helpless are most important issue among all of them.
During the lock down situation in Dhaka , the most busiest streets of
Dhaka has seemed to be fully free of traffic. The government has take
the right decision and providing the relief to one’s who is in need. The
prime minister Sheikhh Hasina has clearly delivered a message that
no corruption will be tolerated, the goods are up for relief is up for it,
no one can have it for their own.
Bangladesh Government Initiative for COVID 19
The prime minister has given the 31-point instruction in the wake of the
novel coronavirus [Covid-19] situation in the country.
Here Are Some Of Them

• Special priority will have to be given to all doctors, nurses, lab


technicians, cleaners, ambulance drivers who are involved in the
treatment
•  Those who are in home quarantine or isolation should be treated
humanely.
• Ensure cleanliness, and all the city corporations, municipalities and
upazila parishads across the country will have to strengthen their
cleanliness activities.
• No corruption will be tolerated in relief activities.
• Assistance will have to be given to day laborers, workers and
peasants so that they don't remain unfed, and a separate list of poor
working people will have to be prepared.
• Food production system will have to continue, and a greater variety
of crops will have to be produced. Whatever is needed for food
security, will have to be done and no land should be kept
uncultivated.
