Mexican food
The history of Mexican Food
The Spanish conquistadors, relying on
the New World, began to bring cattle,
chickens, pigs, rice, wheat, cinnamon,
cloves, black pepper, oranges, peaches
and apricots from the Old World. Rice

became an important part of Mexican
cooking. And now most Mexican dishes
are served to the rice side dish . The
