manufacturing.
c. Industrial Entrepreneur- is the one who sets up an industrial unit.
d. Corporate Entrepreneur- is the one who plans, develops and
manages a
corporate body.
e. Agricultural Entrepreneur- is one who is engaged
in the agriculture activities with latest technologies.
II. According to Motivation:

a. Pure Entrepreneur- is one who may or may not possess an aptitude for
entrepreneurship but is tempted by the monetary rewards or profits to be earned
from the business venture.
b. Induced Entrepreneur- Attracted by the various incentives, subsidies and facilities
offered by the Government.
c. Motivated Entrepreneur-desire for self fulfilment. Possibility of making and
marketing some new product for the use of consumers.
d. Spontaneous Entrepreneur- start their business out of their natural talent.

III. According to the use of Technology:

e. Technical Entrepreneur: Strong skill in his production Techniques. He


concentrates on production than on Marketing.
b. Non-technical Entrepreneur-Not concerned about technical aspect of the product but
spends more time in developing alternative strategies.
c. Professional Entrepreneur- who is interested in floating a business but does not want to
manage or operate once the business is established he sells it out.

IV. According to Stages of Development

d. First Generation Entrepreneur- who doesn’t possess any entrepreneurial background. They
start an industrial unit by means of their innovative skills.
e. Second Generation Entrepreneur- who inherits the family business firms and pass it from
one generation to another.
f. Classical Entrepreneur- aim is to maximize economic returns at a level consistent with the
survival of the unit.

a. Private Entrepreneur- When an individual or a group of individuals set up an enterprise


arrange finance, bear risk and adopt latest technologies in the business with the intention of
profits.
b. State Entrepreneur- Trading or industrial venture undertaken by the State or the
Government.
c. Joint Entrepreneur- combination of private & State entrepreneur who join hands.

which has sustained growth prospects.

technologies innovated by others.
c. Fabian Entrepreneur-they are cautious and sceptical in experimenting changes in their enterprises.
d. Drone Entrepreneur-they are ready to suffer loss but not ready to make changes in their existing methods.
e. Social Entrepreneur-who give importance to values and personal wealth.

Intrapreneur
The employees who leave the jobs because of their entrepreneurial urge and drive. They
want to start business of their own.
Ultrapreneur
Today’s entrepreneur needs to have a different mindset about establishing and operating a
business. This mindset is called ultrapreneuring. An entrepreneur with this mind set is known as
Ultrapreneur.
