M - VOTING

M – VOTING i.e. Voting Through Mobiles

Mobile voting would preferably be carried out

according to a pre-determined and advertised schedule,
rather than in response to ad hoc voting day requests .

The voter accommodation principle underpinning the

concept of mobile voting is commendable.
HOW IT WORKS
 Every citizen above the age of 18 years has got the right to vote.

 Hence obtaining their fingerprints and storing in the database along

with their birth record becomes necessary.

 User sends his finger print (secured print is encrypted and sent as
sequence of data in encoded form) to the service provider.

 Service provider verifies the fingerprint and checks for the validity of
voting and sends voter list (a mobile ballot paper) through SMS.

 User casts his vote and sends 2nd message.

BENEFITS OF M - VOTING

There are so many advantages of mobile voting which are

discussed as follows:

1. Prevent multiple voting.

2. Physically disabled persons can also vote.

3. Time Saving.
CONCLUSION

 M-voting is the enhancement technique of E-

voting.

 It is as fastest as the technique run time.

• It linked the people to their rights As well as

their duties.
