The EMPIRE STATES is one of New
York's best-known skyscrapers. It was
the tallest building in the world for
forty years.

Designed by William F Lamb in 1931, it

measures 443m in height. He is one of
the biggest film icons, starring in films
like You and Me, Something to
Remember or King Kong.

At night it is illuminated in different colors, recently by the World Championships of

Spain, lit up in yellow and red.
Central Park is the park located in
midtown Manhattan. It has an area of
314 hectares. It is visited each year by
about 25 million people.

The park was built in 1873,

and within it there are
different areas, among
which you can distinguish a
small zoo and a large lake
that occupies for the most
part.

It is currently the sports

center of choice for
many of NWY's
residents and visitors.
TIMES SQUARE is one of New York's best-known
areas, located on Broadway Avenue and Seventh
Avenue. It is named after the New York Times
newspaper.

In this famous corner have been recorded many

films, and in it currently are the best known
theaters of this city.

Today there are many bright posters, make this corner a beautiful night print.
TRADITIONAL HOLIDAYS
INDEPENDENCE DAY

U.S. Independence Day is the

national holiday celebrated July
4 in the United States. This day
marks the signing of the
Declaration of Independence in
1776 in which the country
proclaimed its formal
separation from the British
Empire. It is usually celebrated
with many outdoor activities
such as parades, baseball
games and fireworks shows.
THANKSGIVING
DAY
Thanksgiving (in English, Thanksgiving; literally thanking) is a traditional celebration of the
United States and Canada. In the United States it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of
November, although it was originally done on the last Thursday. Most people in the United
States celebrate this party with family gatherings in their homes where they prepare a
banquet. In many houses it is common to offer a prayer of thanks. The traditional main
course for dinner is a large roast or baked turkey. This turkey is traditionally accompanied
with a stuffing made of cornbread and sage. It is traditionally served with a jelly or
cranberry sauce. In addition they usually serve vegetable dishes such as green beans,
sweet potato and mashed potatoes with gravy, which is a sauce made from turkey juice; A
wide variety of desserts is also usually served, with pumpkin pie being the most popular. It
is also common to prepare pecan nut and apple pie.
TYPICAL MEALS
The hot dog is a sandwich with a sausage, which can
be of Frankfurt sausage type, or Viennese and

HOT DOG prepared well boiled, or fried, served on a bread with

an elongated shape that is usually accompanied with
dressing like ketchup and mustard.
Hot dog is, according to many authors, an invention of
American culinary. Hot dog has been greatly reported
throughout the world during the early 20th century,
and especially throughout the U.S. territory, becoming
a food that can be found on the street of big cities.
Traditionally the hot dog is associated, selling street
food in small carts (stands) prepared to be served
instantly. Its sale is linked to a carts ("Hot dog carts")
usually located in the busiest streets of the main
capitals of the world.

 All the foods I'm talking about
today are cheap (unless you're
going to eat them at the most
exclusive places) and you're
going to find them in millions of
places in the city. I already told
you in this article that New
York, like all cities, has its own
smell... Imagine a perfume
formed by the mixture of all the
meals that will appear in the
following list. For the result of
that mixture would be more or
less the smell of New York...
intense but addictive
 And of course at Nathan's.
Characters like Al Capone,
Cary Grant or President
Roosevelt himself were
regular eaters for their
puppies. Although they have
grown all over the country,
the origin is in the Coney
Island store, so I recommend
you visit it there so you can
enjoy its beaches and Luna
Park amusement park
 We're still with the candy!
I'm sure you know these
muffins-balls because they
have become so fashionable
in Spain for a few years.
Well, I have to tell you, this
dessert, if it's of American
origin, at last. What I like
most about cupcakes is their
decoration, there are some
really impressive ones.
Imagine the shop windows
of the New York bakeries
where they sell them to die!
 In New York you can appreciate the
traditional costumes during the national
holidays. This relates to typical U.S.
clothing. The cowboy suit is native to the
State of Texas and is popular worldwide.
It consists of leather boots, blue jeans and
a hat.

 Other garments originate from cultural

and historical movements such as flapper
and pin-up, which influenced women's
fashion in the early 20th century. In
addition, the feathered headdress or
warbonnets is recognized in North
America and is native to Native

Americans .
 The cowboy or cowboy suit, also
known as a Texan costume, falls
under the category called Western
Wear and refers to the typical
costumes often worn by the people
of the western United States,
typically the West State of Texas. In
fact, these clothes originate in the
Far West or Wild West (Old West
and Far West respectively), a
historical period belonging to the
nineteenth century in which the
characters of those whose costumes
are original, of which is perhaps
Buffalo Bill (1845-1917) lived ) the
one that gave the most fame to this
outfit.
 Halloween is a party held every 31
October with special emphasis on
Anglo-Saxon countries, i.e. the
United States, Canada, Ireland and
the United Kingdom. This festival is
of Celtic origin and is also known as
Halloween or Halloween. It is a
holiday linked to the Day of All
Saints (name extended in Spain) or
Day of the Dead (name with which
it is known in Latin America),
celebrated by Catholics on
November 1 .
 A native Indian means that individual belonging
to the native peoples of the United States. This
means that these are the indigenous
communities of the United States, that is, the
Amerindians. Thus, the first inhabitants of North
America most likely arrived from Asia about
10,000-20,000 years ago across the Bering Strait,
as well as other groups mainly from the Andes,
which makes the resulting costumes have
elements typical costumes of the Andean
Region, such as the variety of colors of their
fabrics.

 The clothing of these people is especially

characterized by a basic element: feathers. These
were usually worn on the head resulting in a
feathered headdress or warbonnets, a name
given in the US to this accessory. The
warbonnets, contrary to popular belief, were
used by a minority of American tribes, including
the Sioux, Cheyenne and Plains Cree, who
inhabited the Great Plains region.
Independence Day is celebrated every July 4th,
and is also known as The Fourth of July,
countrywide and is a national holiday. That
day commemorates the signing of the
Declaration of Independence, which took place
in 1776, thus leading to the separation of the
United States from the British Empire.

That's why this day is celebrated on the top

and is very intense among the American
inhabitants. During this day there are
numerous exhibitions and outdoor parades of
markedly patriotic character. Obviously, these
exhibitions are accompanied by a series of
costumes and costumes in which three colors
always predominate: red, blue and white.
 Charleston is a very popular dance in the United
States, especially during the 1920s. This dance,
whose name is due to its origin in the
eponymous city of South Carolina, inspired the
women's fashion of the time and has survived
over time as a star dress at every costume party
in which the motif is the U.S.

 The style of these costumes is also due to the

cultural change that women experienced at the
time with the approval of universal suffrage.
This led to a new vision of women, who now
had more rights and, ultimately, greater
freedom. For this reason, these costumes were
excessively feminine, elaborate and with some
touches typical of French refinement, with a
great influence of designers such as Chanel,
Poiret or Lanvin, among many others.
 In fact, the term pin-up refers to a type of
illustration in which a person appears,
usually a woman, in a suggestive or
provocative attitude, smiling, waving or
simply looking at the camera. This type
of illustrations began to become very
popular in the 20s and 30s, when they
were used as the cover of magazines,
comics or calendars, among others. Since
most of these illustrations featured girls
with a distinctive look, these models
began to be called pin-up. The goal was
above all to attract the attention of
American soldiers during the war.
 What's the weather like in New York and
what clothes do I wear? This is one of the
doubts that assault us when preparing
the suitcase to travel to the Big Apple.

 It is true that in the city you can buy

anything, but choosing the right pieces
will make you not have to go back and
forth in search of that scarf or that hat as
soon as you arrive.

 Today we tell you what weather in New

York and what clothes to wear according
to the season in which you travel.

 And, to make it even easier, we have

created a look for men and women in
every era that we hope will serve you to
give you a clearer idea. Get the suitcase.!
