 INTRODUCTION
Travel information and hotel reservation system is a web
based application project and specially designed for the
tourists to book hotels, motels and resorts through online
for tour purposes and provides travel information like
transportation, about the beautiful places and many
more.

 OBJECTIVES
The travel information and hotel reservation project is
develop to provide best travelling services to the
tourists but not the travel agents.
This system gives tour related information like which
places are tourist attractions and tourist can also get the
transportation, map and navigation system and
temperature and weather information.
Tourist can book hotels, motels and resorts through
the travel information and hotel reservation project.
This system also keeps a history of visited places of
its users.

 SCOPE
Scope of this project is very broad. So, few of them are:

 This can be used in tourism sector as well as by the

tourists.
 Can be used anywhere, any time as it is a web based
application.
 Tourists never need any travel agency and they’ll get
the all tourism related information and this
information works as a guideline.
 Tourists can easily compare the hotels and get their
best hotel based on their budget.

 FEASIBILITY STUDY
Technical feasibility:

The proposed project is definitely practical as I’ve all the

resources available. The technology I’ll be using is
available, free and also is being used all around the
world.

Economical feasibility:

Here, all the technologies are free for the open web. A
fast internet connection and any modern web browser
will do. Overall, I’ve estimated that the proposed system
will surely overcome the initial cost and later on running
cost for system.

Operational feasibility:

And it is operationally feasible if making this system by

removing the threats and weaknesses of existing systems.
And the proposed system is fully user friendly and
design effective.

 APPLICATIONS
This application will be used for reserving the hotels,
motels and resorts by the tourists without the help of
travel agencies.
This application will use in mainly based on the travel
sector of Bangladesh to provide all the necessary travel
information.

 LIMITATIONS

Periodically changing the hotel business strategies.

Hardware and software errors may occur.
Hacking and cracking may occur.

 CONCLUSION

Travel information and hotel reservation system

simplifies more informative process and the reservation
process of hotels for the tourists. This system helps to
decrease oppression of travel agencies.
