RESULTS Our sample included 89 male patients with a

mean age of 43.55 (14.36). These patients were admitted
an average of 8.36 (+/-13.34) times, being in compulsory
admission for a mean of 12.15 (+/-17.41) days. Out of all
these patients, 15 (18.1%) were <30 years old, 55
(66.3%) were 31-60 years old and 13 (15.7%) were >60
years old. The main discharge diagnosis was psychotic
disorder (delusional disorder, schizophrenia, brief-
psychotic disorder) – 28 (33.7%), depression – 20
(24.1%) and substance induced disorders 11 (13.3%). In
patients <30 years old and 31-60 years, the main
diagnosis belonged to the psychotic disorder spectrum
while in patients >60 years the diagnosis was dementia.
