    • Cross Checking the Quantity Accuracy in a BOQ
    •  Using summary page of a BOQ to check the accuracy. Eg. Cost percentages of each
    element
    • in relation to the total cost can be compared with past similar nature projects and if there
    is
    • any huge deviation then the deviated particular element can be cross checked in detail.
    •  Comparing square feet rate for current project against a past similar project after
    making
    • necessary alterations to suit the current project in terms of time, location etc
    •  Using check list – this check list consist a list of major elements of building projects. this
    • check list helps to avoid error due to omission or double counting of elements
