THE CAUSE FROM SMOKING

 There are several factors that cause a person to choose

to smoke even though they already know the dangers
arising from smoking, including:

 1. Heredity
Someone who lives in the middle of a smoker's family
then he will tend to grow also to become a smoker
means someone's behavior is not much different and is
very influenced by parents or siblings.
o 2. Environment
Friends and the environment are proven to be most
effective in influencing someone to smoke. Someone who
lives in a smoker's environment certainly feels inferior
and underestimated by his friends when they don't want
to smoke, is said to be not "male" when not smoking.
 3. Enjoyment Sensation
Sensorimotor factors related to the sensation of
pleasure felt by someone when enjoying cigarettes.
Most people who have already tried smoking will be
addicted and repeat it when they don't have the
strong will to stop smoking.
THE EFFECT FROM SMOKING

8 health problems that can arise from smoking:

o 1. Cancer
More than 60 chemicals contained in cigarettes are
carcinogens or cause cancer. Cigarette smoke can increase
free radicals in the body that trigger abnormal cell growth.
Starting from lung cancer, colon cancer, mouth cancer, to
vocal cord cancer is associated with smoking.
o 2. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic
respiratory disorder. Based on research conducted at the
Jakarta Friendship Hospital, 92 percent of COPD patients
have a history of smoking. Both smoking and passive
smoking are also at risk of developing other respiratory
disorders, such as asthma, bronchitis, to tuberculosis.
 3. Heart
Most patients with coronary heart disease or who
have had a heart attack are smokers. Cigarettes
contain toxic substances that cause damage to the
structure of the heart muscle and heart blood vessels.
Nicotine in cigarettes is the main "actor" of plaque
buildup in blood vessels that can cause coronary heart
disease.
 4. Stroke
The content of cigarette smoke, one of which is
nicotine, can damage blood vessels, including in the
brain. Blood flow to the brain is disrupted due to the
blockage of blood vessels in the brain. In smokers, the
risk of stroke is higher than nonsmokers.
