Type Of Word
Noun
Noun is a word that identifies a person,
animal, place, thing, or idea. Here, we’ll
take a closer look at what makes a noun a
noun, and we’ll provide some noun examples,
along with some advice for using nouns in
your sentences.
Examples
•In Chevron, there are many bulldozers
•Average mining companies in Kalimantan, they
are mining the coal
Verb
Verbs are words that show an action (sing),
occurrence (develop), or state of being
(exist).
Examples
•The miners are mining the gold
•Next process, the metal will be smelted
Adverb
Adverb is a word that is used to change or
qualify the meaning of an adjective, a verb,
a clause, another adverb, or any other type
of word or phrase with the exception of
determiners and adjectives that directly
modify nouns.
Examples
•The bulldozer runs slowly
•Pure golds are too expensive
Phrases
A phrase is a small group of words that forms
a meaningful unit within a clause.
Here is the examples of phrases :
Noun phrase
A noun phrase is built around a single noun,
for example:
A truck of coals are ready to load.
Grinta was reading a book about the “analyze
coal”.

Verb phrase
A verb phrase is the verbal part of a clause,
for example:
He had been arriving in Kalimantan
They will be going to mining the gold
Adjective phrase
An adjective phrase is built around an
adjective, for example:
The sound of drill is very annoying.
That trucks are really big in mining company.

Adverbial phrase
An adverbial phrase is built round an adverb
by adding words before and/or after it, for
example:
The dumptruck runs very slowly.
They coals will be load as fast as possible.
Clause
A clause is a group of words that includes a
subject and a verb.
Independent Clause
An independent clause can express a complete
thought (and can be a standalone sentence).
Examples
•The diamond is very expensive, but it hards
to found.
•She is prefer to be a miner than doctor.
Dependent Clause
A dependent clause is usually a supporting part of a
sentence, and it cannot stand by itself as a
meaningful proposition (idea).
Examples
1. Noun
• That today is my birthday is not
right.
2. Adjective
• People who chew well may have healthy
digestion.
3.Adverbial
• The miners were mining the coal when
the truck arrived.
