FARM/HAND TOOLS IN

AGRICULTURAL CROP PRODUCTION

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:

1. Define the different farm tools in crop production.

2. Appreciate the importance of farm tools to the
farmers.
3. Identify the different characteristics of farm tools in
crop production.
 Enrichment Activity
• The class will be group into three. Each group
will be given a set of pictures of farm/hand
tools and post it on the board with its
corresponding name. Each group is given 3
minutes to finish the activity.
• The first group to finish will be given 20
points, the next to finish will be 15 points and
the last group will be given 10 points.
 Generalization
• What is hand tools?

 Evaluation
In a sheet of paper answer the following:
1. Write the importance of farm/hand tools.
2. Give at least 5 farm tools and give its
function.
 Assignment
• Research for pre-operative check-up of farm
tools and equipment.
