 NOTICE
• Notice is one type of short functional text that
contains a brief and simple information in the from of
writing or symbols to give instructions or warnings to the
public, usually shaped signs. While other forms of the
notice there are some of them are warning and coution.

• Notice adalah salah satu jenis teks fungsional

pendek yang berisi sebuah informasi singkat dan
sederhana yang berbentuk tulisan atau symbol untuk
memberikan intruksi atau peringatan kepada publik,
biasanya berbentuk rambu-rambu. Sedangkan bentuk lain
dari notice ada beberapa diantaranya warning dan
caution.
 VITAL RECORDS (Catatan Penting)
So, the notice is used to give instructions or warnings to
the public
(Jadi, notice digunakan untuk memberi intruksi atau
peringatan kepada publik.)
Notice ( petunjuk )
1. Give a hint.
( Memberi sebuah petunjuk ).
2. Give direction
(Memberi arahan).
Example writing (Contoh tulisan) : “ please keep the window opened” ( biarkan
jendela itu terbuka).

1. Caution the public to not do something ot avoid something
(Memberi peringatan kepada publik untuk tidak melakukan sesuatu atau
